It all began with a naming ceremony in Benin City Nigeria. I was given the Edo name ‘Eriamiyesi’ which translates to ‘what a good mother’. I have been blessed with two beautiful, gifted and special god daughters. Seven and Eden are truly the “why” behind Home of Good Mother. Without them, there would be no spiritual doula. God gifted me the opportunity to be a doula for two of the most important children in my life. The opportunity to care for them postpartum, has equipped me with the heart to want to give to every mother and family I possibly can. Every child is a gift and therefore should have the opportunity to enter the world safely and peacefully. Every mother should have the right to give this opportunity to their child. Home of Good mother is here to ensure that this opportunity becomes a reality for all.
