My name is Mish Aroko and I am a certified Bay Area doula. I have been a practicing doula since 2019. My doula practice specializes in labor and delivery assistance and postpartum care. My faith is extremely important to me. My belief in God and His ability to create and predestine purpose, has empowered me to live out my dream. I am extremely passionate about providing hands on support, advocacy and education related to newborn care. My role as a spiritual doula begins with assisting the mother in giving birth in the most supported, peaceful and healthy environment; whether that be home birth, birthing center or hospital birth. I further coach through breast feeding, emotional, spiritual and physical recovery, mother baby bonding, newborn sleep/soothing as well as basic newborn care. Bringing life into the world is an exciting adventure. At times this adventure can be overwhelming. My role is to ensure that this journey is empowering, transformative and healing for mother, partner and baby.
